DIAN 2022 Competition: Results of those admitted to compete are already published
After the merit-based competition to fill 4,700 positions at the entity nationwide was opened on February 22, the National Civil Service Commission (CNSC) published the latest developments on the DIAN 2022 competition process.
According to the CNSC, as of today, August 2, 2023, the results of the verification phase of the minimum requirements for the DIAN 2022 competition, which offers 3,200 vacancies for entry and 1,410 vacancies for promotion in the entity, can be consulted.

Check if you meet the minimum requirements for the DIAN 2022 competition
The minimum requirements for the DIAN 2022 competition are a mandatory condition to be met by each applicant, and therefore do not constitute any kind of test or selection instrument.
In case of not complying with the requirements specified in said competition, the applicant’s application will be withdrawn, in accordance with the provisions of Article 14 of the Agreement of this selection process.
In order to know the results of the DIAN selection process, you may access the website of the CNSC. There you must go to the button of the Support System for Equality, Merit and Opportunity (SIMO), which will allow you to enter your username and password to know the first results of the DIAN 2022 competition.
In case the applicant considers that he/she meets the minimum requirements for the DIAN 2022 competition, but the system indicates that he/she was not admitted, he/she may make the pertinent claims.
For this purpose, from the SIMO web page, the applicant may submit his/her claim from midnight on Thursday, August 3 until 11:59 p.m. on Friday, August 4, 2023.

DIAN 2022 competition: based in merit
The DIAN 2022 competition was opened on February 22, 2023 to fill a total of 4,700 vacancies in two modalities: entry and promotion. In the entry modality, the National Tax and Customs Directorate (DIAN) offered 3,290 vacancies, of which 1,803 are at the professional level, 886 at the technical level and 601 at the assistance level.
Likewise, of the total of 3,290 vacancies offered in the entry mode, there are 1,417 vacancies for positions without experience: 1,277 for the professional level, 125 for the technical level and 15 for the assistance level.
As for the promotion modality, the DIAN offered 1,410 vacancies, of which 1,086 are for the professional level, 307 for the technical level and 17 for the assistance level.
The end of the “tricks” and the beginning of the “merits”
Last June 15, the DIAN announced the new career system for which it will be mandatory to submit to merit-based competitions in order to be promoted within the entity or to enter. The system is regulated in Decree 927 of 2023.
The decree “will put an end to the tricks and blackmail in the hiring of public servants”, said the current director of the entity, Luis Carlos Reyes.
With this mechanism, the entity intends to carry out a merit-based selection process to fill the 10,207 new vacancies for the expansion of the DIAN’s staff.
