Expovinos 2023: The Unmissable Wine Fair Arriving in Bogotá on August 2nd

Corferias opens its doors to wine lovers to celebrate a culture that grows year after year in the country. Starting next Wednesday, August 2, the largest wine fair in Latin America arrives in Bogota. It is Expovinos 2023, one of the most important wine industry fairs in Latin America, organized by Grupo Éxito together with experts from all over the world.

Attendees will be able to enjoy 22,000 square meters dedicated to wine in the 18th version of Expovinos. The experience brings together international exhibitors and promotes wineries of the best wine producers in the world.

Expovinos 2023: An unforgettable experience

For this edition, on its 18th birthday, Expovinos offers all attendees a unique experience, under the expert guidance of José Rafael Arango, a Colombian sommelier with decades of experience in the wine industry, as well as with the contributions and accompaniment of multiple international guests specialized in the wine world.

This 2023 edition is designed to captivate wine lovers with the flavors of different grape varieties and a gastronomic offer suitable for every palate. In addition, Expovinos seeks to highlight the role of women in the wine industry through the immersive experiences of the guests.

Among the international participants will be Spain’s Anna Vicens, a sommelier and wine industry and sommelier expert with a career that began in 1997.

Other international guests include wine culture experts Ervigio Adán and Miguel Martínez, professor of “Sommelier and beverages” at the Universidad de La Sabana.

On behalf of Andorra, Xavier Casal, manager of Quality Wine Int., together with Victor Kompanichenko, sommelier of Ukrainian nationality have confirmed their attendance at Expovinos 2023. Representing Colombia will be the director of this edition, José Rafael Arango, together with sommelier Michelle Morales.

Wine lovers will find a wide range of foods designed to harmonize with the outstanding selection of wines prepared for Expovinos 2023.

There, attendees will be able to enjoy the entire offer of wines in Colombia through exhibitors and experts from Colombia and other countries that promote an Expovinos 2023 experience full of emotions.

Tickets from $40,000

Wine lovers can purchase admission tickets to Expovinos 2023 through the Tu Boleta portal or at the Corferias ticket office. The fair offers attendees two options: admission per day or a four-day package.

Up to 30 thousand people will be able to buy tickets to enjoy one day of Expovinos 2023, the entrance fee is $40,000. However, for those who wish to enjoy every day of the fair, the cost is $80,000 with a maximum capacity of 7,500 people.

A tradition that is already 18 years old

Although the wine culture in Colombia is still considerably less than in other countries, the industry’s potential is evident. In previous editions, Expovinos has managed to bring together up to 45,000 wine lovers in an unforgettable celebration.
