The Mayor’s Office of the city of Bogota announced the opening of 70 job offers aimed at inhabitants of the capital city. The District Employment Agency, together with Telcos Ingeniería, will carry out the selection process in the district of Kennedy on July 26.
The appointment is at the facilities of the company Telcos Ingeniería, at Carrera 69 Bis # 24 – 24 Sur, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Next Wednesday, July 26, those interested in participating in the call for applications may bring their resume and a copy of their identity document to the address shared by the District Mayor’s Office of Bogota for further evaluation.
Please note that, in this case, the job offers in Bogota advertised by the agency are aimed at technical operations personnel, warehouse assistants and motorized high school graduates.

The Mayor’s Office of Bogota has the District Employment Agency to promote employability in the capital of the Republic.
The platform aims to create an employability route that connects candidates with legitimate offers of decent employment. To this end, several strategies are being developed, including the organization of job fairs in different parts of the city, the promotion of job openings in Bogotá, the creation of programs aimed at minorities, and the accompaniment of those registered/affiliated with the agency in their search for employment.
In the particular case of young people, the Mayor’s Office launched the Youth Employment strategy, aimed at young people who face difficulties when trying to get their first job. How is the unemployment rate in Colombia?
According to studies conducted by the National Administrative Department of Statistics (DANE), by May 2023 the unemployment rate in the country was 10.5%. In the same month of last year, a rate of 10.6% was registered, so that the percentage of employment in the country had a reduced increase.
For the mobile quarter from March to May 2023, an unemployment rate of 10.8% was recorded in the city of Bogota.
According to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), projections for the end of 2023 leave our country in a similar scenario to that of the previous year, without significant improvements regarding the unemployment rate.
