Looking for a job? There are more than 34,000 job offers at the Public Employment Agency

The Public Employment Agency has more than 34 thousand job offers for all Colombians. They are in areas such as natural sciences, equipment operation, art, culture, leisure and sports, exploitation of raw materials and many more.

In total, there are 34,814 job offers, available in 31 of Colombia’s 32 departments plus the capital district. In addition, those interested can also apply for job offers to work in seven international destinations.

To apply to the job offers, please note that this is a free service that can be accessed directly, that is, without intermediaries to avoid being a victim of fraud.

Apply to the Public Employment Agency’s job offers

On the website of the SENA Job Board you will find the list of departments and the number of job offers available in each one of them:

Amazonas has 8 vacancies, Antioquia 2,579, Arauca (133), Atlántico (1,443), Bolívar (399), Boyacá (756), Caldas (1,081), Caquetá (73), Casanare (387), Cauca (52), Cesar (152), Chocó (16), Cundinamarca (4. 364), Córdoba (298), Guainía (4), La Guajira (178), Guaviare (15), Huila (795), Magdalena (64), Meta (1181), Nariño (210), Norte de Santander (571), Putumayo (56), Quindío (302), Risaralda (1508), San Andrés and Providencia (143), Santander (1. 294), Sucre (97), Tolima (634), Valle del Cauca (2,293) and Vaupés (7).

The department of Vichada is the only one with no job offers available so far. On the other hand, to work in Bogota, those interested will find 13,835 vacancies available.

Citizens may click on each of the departments to find out the available vacancies.

For example, one of the locations with more vacancies, after Bogota, is Cundinamarca, where you can see 4. 364 vacancies in Finance and administration (1350); Natural, applied and related sciences (264); Health (278); Social sciences, education, government services and religion (26); Arts, culture, leisure and sports (2); Sales and services (1023); Primary and extractive exploitation (212); Equipment operation, transportation and trades (785), and Processing, manufacturing and assembly (425).

When you click on each of the job areas, the Job Board system window will show you the occupational area.

To continue with the Cundinamarca example, and when you click on Social Sciences, Education, Government Services and Religion, the system will tell you that you can search the job information for six occupational areas. One of them is Higher Education Teachers, in which there are three vacancies: Higher Education Teacher, Higher Education Technology Teacher and Higher Education Technical Teacher.

In addition, you can also learn more details of each vacancy, such as the municipality where the personnel is required, the deadline for application and in some cases the salary. Finally, you can click on “Apply”, where you will find the fields to access the system with your document number and password.

If you are not a user of the system, you can register by clicking on “Register now!” and start the selection process.

Job offers in other departments can be viewed in the same way.

Job offers in other countries

The Public Employment Agency also has vacancies in Germany, the United States, Mexico and Canada.

The job offers in Germany are in the city of Hamburg (60 vacancies), and in the federal state of Saarland (60). These are focused on the health area, specifically in the search for nurses. The same vacancies are available in the United States, specifically in the states of Arizona (100), Colorado (40) and New York (60).

In the state of Guerrero, Mexico, the Public Employment Agency is providing its services to recruit and fill two vacancies: the first in the category of Producers, Artistic Directors, Choreographers and Related Occupations, and the second in the category of Sales Supervisors.

There are 100 vacancies available in Canada, specifically in the province of Quebec, all of which are aimed at finding Brassworkers.
