More than 4,500 job offers in Bogota: inclusive job fair to be held this August 3

Looking for a job? The Mayor’s Office announced new job offers in Bogota. There are 3,000 vacancies available in the Inclusive Employment and Public Works Megafair that will receive applications on August 3. Here are all the details.

The job offers in Bogota, under the inclusive employment program, are part of a strategy that encourages the hiring of people who normally face difficulties in finding a job. As part of the program, and on the occasion of the city’s birthday, the Mayor’s Office will hold a job fair in Bogota with an inclusive approach. We tell you what to do to participate.

How to apply for the jobs Megafair in Bogota?

The iconic Plaza de Lourdes, located between Calle 63 and Carrera 13 will be the epicenter of this initiative that aims to facilitate the recruitment of 3,000 job seekers in Bogota.

From 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., interested parties will be able to apply for job offers in Bogota offered by 40 Colombian companies that work hand in hand with the city’s administration.

To apply, attendees must present themselves at Plaza Lourdes with identification documents and several copies of their resumes. Any additional documentation will be required as the selection process progresses.

What are the available vacancies?

The job offers in Bogota, at the Megafair, cover various sectors such as construction, Call Center and BPO, services, food and beverage industry, the financial sector, telecommunications and pharmaceuticals, among others.

It is important to note that the fair has a particular focus on the search for young profiles and vulnerable population. Therefore, priority will be given to cases of first employment, hiring of women, with or without professional, technical or technological studies.

The Mayor of Bogota announced that the Capital District 5 selection process will be held, with registration available until August 10.

The initiative, held with the National Civil Service Commission, has 1,501 vacancies in the District Administration at Technical and Assistance levels, as well as other higher hierarchical levels.


To participate in the selection process for the job vacancies in Bogota it is necessary to pay a registration fee. This amount is fixed and depends on the position.

That is to say, if you wish to find employment in the Capital District through this resource, please note:

  • To participate in the call for a job in Bogota at the technical and assistance level, you will have to pay $38,700.
  • To apply for a job in Bogota of any other hierarchy, the amount you must pay is $58,000.
