There are 30,000 job offers in Bogota: you can apply until August 31st

The District Employment Agency opened new job offers for the inhabitants of Bogota. This call seeks to fill vacancies for warehouse operators; administrative assistants; logistics assistants; security guards; commercial advisors; production operators; general services, cleaning and sanitation assistants; and call center advisors, among others.

In total there are more than 30,000 formal job offers from the Bogotá Trabaja program in the country’s capital. They will be available until August 31.

How to apply your resume to job offers in Bogota

From today until August 31, job offers in Bogota are open. Those interested can apply with their updated resumes at any of the points of attention already set up by the District Administration.

If you are interested, take into account the following steps indicated by the Mayor’s Office of Bogota:

• The first thing you should know is that the job offers are aimed at all adults residing in the city.
• Those interested should go to register and ask for information at the job vacancy events, available until August 31.
• People attending the events must bring their updated resume and identity card.
• Foreigners must bring the foreigner’s citizenship card and work permit.
• Participants cannot be linked to other formal employment.
• Finally, those interested may not have participated in programs such as ‘Youth Employment’, ‘Inclusive Employment’ and ‘Employment Boost’, of the District Secretariat of Economic Development.

Job offers: Tuesday, August 29th

In the district of Ciudad Bolivar, the event of formal job offers takes place at the Bolivia Community Hall, at diagonal 86A # 103C . 80, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Employment event on Wednesday, August 30

In San Cristobal, the event will be held at the Divino Niño Church (Carrera 5N # 27 – 65). District officials will be present from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Job offers: Thursday, August 31

On the last day of the month, there will be two job offers, one in the locality of Ciudad Bolivar and the other in the locality of Antonio Nariño.

In Ciudad Bolivar, the appointment is in San Francisco, diagonal 62 south # 20F – 20. The opening hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

In Antonio Nariño, the event will be held at the SENA Complejo Sur, carrera 30 # 17 – 91 sur, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The objective of the Secretariat of Economic Development, with the Bogota Trabaja program, is to support the inhabitants of Bogota who seek to enter the labor market in an official manner, with the purpose of offering more and better opportunities in the productive sector, according to the entity.

To achieve this goal, through the District Employment Agency, the Mayor’s Office of Bogota presents employment routes designed to improve the job search and thus overcome social obstacles and strengthen professional skills.
