Water cuts in Bogota today

Empresa de Acueducto y Alcantarillado de Bogotá (EEAB) announced the water cuts scheduled for this week. In total there are 13 localities, plus the municipality of Soacha, where maintenance and repair work will be carried out on water distribution networks.

The purpose of these works is to guarantee a continuous supply and minimize potential damage to infrastructure, the company announced.

In view of this, the EEAB makes available to the public the information corresponding to the dates of intervention, schedules and duration of the works.

Likewise, EEAB invites residents of the areas to plan their activities in accordance with the water cut-off schedules. It also explains that these works are necessary to ensure the quality and reliability of the service.

The following are the locations, dates and times when the scheduled water cuts will be carried out.

Water cuts: Tuesday, August 29

During Tuesday, August 29, water cuts will be carried out in 10 locations in the city. These are the sectors that will be intervened by EEAB.

• Water cuts today in Puente Aranda

The sectors between carrera 30 and carrera 36, from calle 6 to calle 13.

Schedule: Water cuts will last 28 hours starting at 7:00 a.m.

• San Cristobal

From Calle 1 to Calle 11 Sur, between Carrera 8 and Carrera 8C, in the following sectors: Calvo Sur, Nariño Sur and Hospital La Samaritana.

Schedule: Service will be suspended for 12 hours, starting at 10:00 a.m.

Water cuts will be carried out in the sectors of Vitelma, Ramírez, El Triunfo, Buenos Aires, between calle 11 sur and calle 1°, between carrera 13 este and carrera 3.

Schedule: It will be 24 hours without water supply, starting at 10:00 a.m.

• Ciudad Bolivar:

The aqueduct announced that in Ciudad Bolivar will be several areas that will be with water cuts: from 69U street south to 83 street south, between carrera 26A Bis C and carrera 18H.

Schedule: It will be 24 hours without water supply, starting at 10:00 a.m.

• Tunjuelito:

In the locality of Tunjuelito, water cuts will be carried out in the sectors of Fátima and Venecia Occidental, between transversal 44 to carrera 33, and between calle 49 sur to calle 56 sur.

Schedule: The work will last 24 hours, starting at 10:00 a.m.

• Kennedy:

Maintenance and repair works will be in the Britalia sector, between calle 43 sur to calle 54 sur, and between carrera 85 to carrera 86.

Schedule: 24 hours starting at 10:00 a.m.

• Bosa:

In Bosa, water cuts will be in several sectors: from carrera 77G to transversal 89, and between diagonal 73G south to calle 94 sur.

Schedule: 24 hours of work starting at 10:00 a.m.

• Usaquén:

Santa Barbara Oriental and Bella Suiza: carrera 7 to carrera 9, and between calle 116 to calle 134.

Schedule: water cuts will last 24 hours, starting at 10:00 a.m.

• Teusaquillo:

Alfonso Lopez. Calle 45 to calle 57, between carrera 24 and carrera 30.

Schedule: works will last 24 hours, starting at 9:00 a.m.

• Barrios Unidos:

There will be several areas where there will be maintenance works in the locality of Barrios Unidos. From 26th Street Avenue to 66th Street, and from 68th Street to Boyacá Avenue.

Schedule: In these sectors, the works will last 4 hours, and will start at 10:00 a.m.

• Suba:

Suba Alto and other sectors: Calle 127 to calle 170, between carrera 79 and carrera 92.

Schedule: During 24 hours these sectors of Suba will have water cuts starting at 10:00 a.m.

Water cuts for Wednesday, August 30 will be carried out in 9 locations.

• Water cuts in Puente Aranda:

Comuneros. From calle 6 avenue to calle 3 avenue, and between carrera 30 to carrera 36 avenue.

Schedule: For 28 hours these sectors will have water cuts from 7:00 am.

In addition, the Granjas de Techo and Montevideo sectors will also be affected. From Carrera 68 Avenue to Carrera 68D Avenue, between Calle 13 Avenue and Calle 22 Avenue.

Schedule: The works will last for 24 hours and will start at 10:00 a.m.

• Fontibón:

Ciudad Salitre and Terminal de Transportes. Between 26th Street and 22nd Street, from Carrera 68D to Carrera 72 Avenue (Boyacá Avenue).

Schedule: 28 hours of work starting at 7:00 a.m.

• Kennedy:

Hipotecho Sur, La Igualdad. From Avenida Calle 6 to Avenida Calle 1 Sur, between Carrera 68 and Avenida Carrera 72 (Avenida Boyacá).

Schedule: In these sectors of Kennedy, the water cut works will last 28 hours and will start at 7:00 am.

Lusitania. From Calle 6 Avenue to Calle 13 Avenue, between Carrera 68 and Carrera 68G.

Schedule: 7:00 a.m. for 28 hours.

Patio Bonito 1 and 2, Dindalito. From South 38th Street to South 43rd Street, between Carrera 86 and Carrera 89B.

• Rafael Uribe Uribe and Tunjuelito:

Santa Lucía and Tunal Oriental (Includes Tunal Hospital). From carrera 14 to carrera 25A, and between calle 42 sur to calle 48C sur.

Schedule: 24 hours from 8:00 a.m.

• Ciudad Bolivar:

Quiba Rural, Quiba Urbano, El Minuto de María, Quiba, Cedritos del Sur, Naciones Unidas, El Tesoro, Estrella del Sur.

From 74C South Street to 81H South Street, between Carrera 18 Bis B and Carrera 18 Bis A.

Schedule: The water cuts in these sectors of Ciudad Bolívar will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will last 24 hours.

In these sectors of Ciudad Bolívar there will also be water cuts: El Mochuelo II, El Mochuelo III, Quiba Rural, Quiba Urbano, El Minuto de María, El Mochuelo II Urbano, El Mochuelo, Quiba, El Mochuelo Oriental, Casa de Teja.
