You can still apply for housing subsidies in Bogota: learn here how you can take advantage of this opportunity
This morning the Mayor of Bogota, Claudia Lopez, reminded all citizens in Bogota to take advantage of the last opportunity to access the housing subsidy program and purchase their own home in the city.
This is the Preferential Offer program, under the responsibility of the District Secretariat of Habitat, which makes available to citizens 2,100 houses of priority social interest (VIP) and of social interest (VIS).

How to Participate in the Housing Subsidy Program
In order to meet the housing deficit in Bogota, the Secretariat of Habitat leads the housing subsidy program, Preferential Offer. With this program, low-income families in the city will be able to apply for housing subsidies that facilitate the process of acquiring their own home.
According to the Secretariat of Habitat, the Capital District has 2,100 VIP and VIS housing units in eleven real estate projects located in four localities of the city: Bosa, Santa Fe, Suba and Usme.

If you are interested in participating in the call for applications, which closes today, July 31 at 11:59 p.m., please note that you must meet the following requirements:
- Head of household must be of legal age
- Household income must be less than 4 minimum wages
- The head of household must not be a homeowner in Colombia
- Neither can be a beneficiary of another housing subsidy program
- Not have been penalized in a housing subsidy allocation process
- Have a financial closure. This means that they must have sufficient resources to complete the price of a new home, either with their own resources, credits or subsidies.
After the closing of the call for applications, the Secretariat of Habitat will review which households meet the requirements to access the housing subsidies, which will then be contacted directly by Habitat to the email and/or cell phone provided in the registration form.
These are the projects to apply for housing subsidies in Bogota
If you meet all the requirements, you will be able to register for the housing subsidy program in Bogota, for which you must choose one of the following real estate projects:
- Carmesí, in the locality of Bosa
- La Unión (Bosa)
- Resplandor (Bosa)
- Ventura (Bosa)
- New York Centrum Tercer Milenio, in the Santa Fe district
- Londres (Santa Fe)
- Tramonte Nova, in the Suba district
- Balcones del Portal, in the district of Usme
- Casa Real – Aptos VIP (Usme)
- Casa Real – Aptos VIS (Usme)
- Senderos del Portal I (Usme)
