Jazz al Parque 2023: artists and schedules this September 9 and 10

Bogota is getting ready to once again host one of the most anticipated cultural events of the year: Jazz al Parque 2023. Organized by the District Institute of the Arts (Idartes), this festival promises a musical and artistic experience at El Country Park, located at Avenida Calle 127 # 11 D – 90, on September 9 and 10.

Jazz al Parque 2023 Program: Saturday, September 9th
The festival will kick off on Saturday, September 9, at 1:25 p.m., with the performance of one of the winning groups of the district’s call for entries: Siete Ríos, with their mix of sounds from the Colombian coasts, jazz and other world influences.
At 2:20 p.m., Jah Lous will perform, fusing elements of world music, blues, funk and Latin jazz.
Then, at 3:15 p.m., Bogotá’s special guest, Óscar Acevedo Cuarteto, will perform a selection of compositions from the last 20 years.
At 4:20 p.m., Saturday will continue with Andean folklore fused with jazz by the Juan Pablo Cediel Quintet.
At 5:20 p.m., the public will be able to listen to the coplas adapted to jazz by the Spanish duo Martirio and Chano Domínguez.
At 6:35 p.m., Yissy García from Cuba will perform with her musical fusions.
Finally, the last concert on Saturday will be in charge of Puerto Candelaria, which arrives at 7:55 p.m. with its sonorous explosion from Medellín. The group will present its work “The secret of the shadow”.
Jazz al Parque 2023 Programming: Sunday, September 10
On Sunday, September 10, the Beatnicia collective will open the program at 12:55 p.m. with its contemporary jazz, funk, R&B and electronic music.
At 1:50 p.m., the Nicolás Delgado Cuarteto will continue the day, which is part of the Bogota talent that will be present at the festival.
At 2:45 p.m., you will be able to listen to Brina Quoya, a proposal from the capital.
Then, at 3:40 p.m., Guaita, also from Bogota, will perform.
At 4:35 p.m., Rita Payés, a talented 22-year-old trombonist and singer, will bring her music from Catalonia to the stages of Bogota.
At 5:50 p.m., attendees will be able to listen to Melífora, who will close the performances of the groups from the capital.
At 6:45 p.m., Igsabelar, from Bucaramanga, will perform.
At 7:55 p.m., and to close the festival with a flourish, Jojo Mayer & Nerve from Switzerland will offer a unique musical experience, fusing the rhythms of jazz and drum ‘n’ bass music.
