Despite the fact that the unemployment rate in the country dropped from 11.3% in June 2022 to 9.3% in June 2023, unemployment in the country continues to represent one of the main challenges in terms of labor policy. Against this backdrop, we share the new job offers opened by the Comfenalco compensation fund.

In recent times, the Colombian economy has faced significant challenges, deepened by the 2020 pandemic, the effects of confinement, high inflation and global supply chain problems.
However, the opening of new vacancies brings with it a helping hand for an economic revitalization.
Job offers categorized by sector
Job offers have been available nationwide since August 11 and cover a wide variety of sectors, from technology to manufacturing and services.
These vacancies not only seek to fill positions at executive levels, but also at operational and technical levels, thus providing opportunities for a wide range of professionals and workers.
Education
Tennis teacher. Interested applicants must have a bachelor’s degree in education or sports, tennis or physical education coursework, and a minimum of five (5) years of experience in the field.
Salary: $1,300,000 + transportation allowance, food allowance ($180,000 per month) and equipment.
Construction
There are vacancies available for the positions of Metal worker, Metal mechanic assistant and professional in electrical engineering with a minimum experience of three years in electrical installations (RETIEP and RETILAP).
Salaries: between 1 and 2 legal minimum monthly salaries (SMMLV).
Professional internships
These vacancies do not require work experience, so they may represent a very good option for those who are looking for professional internships in document management and administrative assistance or customer service and merchandising. The salary is $1,160,000
Domestic Workers
A Steward position is available. Those interested must certify a bachelor’s degree with one year of experience in cleaning and loading tasks in Catering type food services. Must have, preferably, a valid food handling certificate.
Salary: $1,160,000 + food.
Food:
This sector requires a general food line assistant and a cook. The first one must have a high school degree with one year of experience in food services such as catering or restaurants. The second must have technical training in cooking with a minimum experience of one year in activities related to the position.
Salary: $1,160,000
Trade:
Cashier with technical training in accounting and/or financial areas, and minimum experience of one year in work related to the position.
Salary: $1,160,000

Production
Field inspector, professional or technologist with at least one year of experience in the position. Must have a 40-hour course in heights.
Salary: $1.400.000 + transportation allowance + all legal benefits.
Transportation
Forklift Operator Technician with minimum experience of 1 year and Telescopic Crane Operator with minimum experience of 2 years in the position and crane and/or truck operator certificate.
Salaries: between $1.160.000 to $2.000.000
Health
Vacancies in the health sector are available for four general practitioners, two for the adult and pediatric ICU area with a minimum of one year of experience in the position and two for the emergency area, with one year of related experience.
Salary: $3,500,000
In addition, a vacancy is available in this category for a nutrition professional with one year of experience in hospitalization, enteral and parenteral feeding.
Salary: $2,000,000.
Finally, among the job openings is one for a nurse manager, in the hospitalization and emergency area. Must have one year of related experience in the areas. Salary: $2,000,000
Hospitality
The last vacancy available is for a hotel assistant with a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of experience in the position.
Salary: $1.170.000 + legal benefits.
