On October 29th Colombian entrepreneurs have a date with democracy

No doubt, the voices that exalt our democracy are right when they highlight as part of the democratic exercise of our nation the fact that a former guerrilla member has been allowed to reach the throne of Bolivar.
The needs of our country and the real search for change on the part of Colombian society are also undeniable. And if we are talking about change, it is essential that Colombian entrepreneurs assume a leading role in the political exercise of our country.
Today, more than ever, it is necessary to be aware of the need to involve all of us, as members of a Nation, to participate in the political and institutional work that defines the fate of all Colombian companies and families from the public sector.
We must, in a democracy and with healthy criticism, seek that the current government listens to our reasons, corrects what is not beneficial for the country, and builds consensus that will allow it to govern for all Colombians and not only for those who elected it.
It is undeniable that if President Petro is doing well, Colombia is doing well, and what we need is to build a better Colombia every day, which will allow us to offer our children and future generations the possibility of growing up in peace, with safety, health, education, and employment, living in a society that accepts differences and cares for biodiversity.
We are as heterogeneous as the indigenous peoples that inhabit our territory, we are as unique as the multiple cultures that represent the regions of our country. Colombia is irremediably the result of itself and, even with all our differences and disagreements, we are called to participate in all those democratic exercises that define the course of our country.
Next October 29, we will have one more appointment with democracy, an appointment in which Colombian entrepreneurs will have the first word. They may once again be conspicuous by their absence and by their omissions in the light of their patriotic duties to commit themselves in solidarity with the noble causes that seek the common welfare of society.

Or, on the contrary, Colombian entrepreneurs will be able to stand out for their true and decisive participation and contributions, not only economically, but also conceptually, proactively, dynamically, and involving their participation in the daily discussion with their workers regarding the future of the country.
It is important that entrepreneurs listen carefully to all those who voted for change, who are still looking for more and better opportunities for their families, and who, for the most part, have never obtained any real benefit from the administration of the rulers who preceded the current government.
Hopefully, Colombian entrepreneurs and society, in general, will actively participate in the upcoming regional elections, which will not only define national preferences and the self-critical view that Colombian society can take but will also define, to a large extent, the internal course of the country.
For all of the above, I invite you to participate in the democratic process from our political side. What matters is that we do so with the strong conviction of building a better Colombia, where we can all live in peace and where respect for differences is the fundamental pillar of our democracy.
